Minister Yusuf Tekin was the first guest of the " Century of Türkiye Education Talks" organized by the Ministry of National Education Directorate General of Personnel at the Başkent Teacher's House. 

 

Speaking at the interview held with the participation of Deputy Ministers, unit chiefs, members of the Board of Education and Discipline, and department heads, Minister Tekin said that they believe they have all the opportunities to create their own education model with a national education awareness. Noting that the education family is the immediate and concrete part of the Century of Türkiye, Minister Tekin stressed that they are aware that the model represents a reality. Underlining that they are also aware of their responsibilities, the Minister expressed they will strive to continue to work with determination. The Minister said that he considers the Century of Türkiye Education Talks as an important step in terms of revealing different perspectives and experiences in education in line with Türkiye's educational vision and goals, producing new ideas and suggestions and creating a common understanding in education.

 

Referring to his own student years in his speech, Tekin talked about the processes of change in social life and education in Türkiye. 

 

Explaining his work during his time as undersecretary and rector, Tekin touched upon the importance of working with team spirit in achieving success "We are a team working together, I want to give you the spirit and atmosphere of working as a team. Therefore, I go from the central organization of the Ministry to the schools in the most remote corners of Anatolia and try to explain my thoughts and feelings to our teachers and staff" Tekin said.

 

Emphasizing the value of being humble, Tekin noted that there is no problem that cannot be overcome when acting with common sense.
